Itt’s been a busy day, I was supposed to have four TEFL lessons but they all got cancelled, I’m not too worried, the weather is horrible today, while yesterday was a nice scorching 30 degrees celcius, today it’s raining, overcast and around 12. Best to stay in and write.

* The first thing to do is to write 5 Helium articles. This took me about 90 minutes to write and submit.

* I’ve updated my own blogs. Lately my posts have been so irregular, there are days when I have no idea what to post about, and when I stop thinking about it, lots of ideas come to mind.

* I’ve posted on another writers blog. I’m trying to do this more often, but the fear of sounding silly is still holding me back. I’m so scared of asking questions or saying anything at all. Yes this is ridiculous but hey, that’s just little old self conscious me.

* Three queries prepared and almost ready to go out in the email to awaiting magazines. At least that’s how I want to look at it. If I don’t send them out than no one is going to give me assignments. Guess I’ll have to get over the self conscious thing.

* I’ve procrastinated about whether to send out a query to Time magazine.

I’m searching for contributer guidelines for TIME, there’s nothing on the website and I can’t find anything when I type contributer guidelines for Time into Google. Darn it. I’ve found a contact email though and I will email for contributer guidelines. Hopefully the person will send them my way. I’m aiming high, but I’ve got an idea for one of their sections that might be appropriate and I know that they use freelance writers for it. The worst thing that will happen is a NO, but I once read that each NO, is one step closer to a YES!

I need to scrub up those queries and send them off tomorrow. Let’s hope my Internet is working better so I’m not wasting time waiting for pages to load.
